Well, obviously that's the answer!! Comic Sans MS is known as The Font Everyone Loves to Hate. How very true! It's easy to hate on Comic Sans MS.

Most people associate Comic Sans with children - although that is a very rude thing to associate such a horrible font with.

Unfortunately Kid Fonts are not very popular so most people do not know about fonts to associate kids with. The font was probably linked to kids because it was unacceptable to use for professional or adult matters.


A True But Insulting Truth

Even for kids, Comic Sans MS is never an acceptable font. (The quote on the right is sort of true, although how insulting - to unicorns, kids, girls and poems!) Kids deserve a better designed font for their own use.

Another picture on the left displays how terrible Comic Sans really is. Comic Sans MS makes things look annoying, aggravating, and unofficial.  Even with awesome little leaves around it, the font just looks.. absolutely.. hideous!!!

Another topic of debate is the font Papyrus. Although the name may sound appealing (or not), the font is definitely not! Also known as one of the second or third most hated on fonts, Papyrus has ugly capital letters and okay lowercase ones.

Even alone, Comic Sans looks vomitrotious (let me use a perfectly-describing-comic-sans-ms-word from Arthur) side-by-side with another font! A good one!
